Job summary

NXTEP is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator in Perth to lead tendering and cost estimation for civil infrastructure projects. The role involves site visits, developing costings from first principles, and maintaining cost libraries while working with internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities include bid management, site inspections, and benchmarking to ensure competitive tenders up to $10M.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven civil estimating experience.
• Experience preparing tenders up to $10M.
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and NPC.

Responsibilities

• Tender & Bid Management: prepare, analyse, and submit tender proposals and quotes.
• Site Inspections & Strategy: attend site walk-downs and tender meetings to evaluate scope.
• First-Principles Estimation: build estimates from first principles cost breakdowns.
• Cost Libraries & Benchmarking: develop and maintain historical cost databases and templates.
• Commercial Governance: ensure compliance, risk management, and contractual alignment during tendering.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: present cost breakdowns to senior management and clients.
