GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for its Civil & Transport Infrastructure team in Gladstone, Mackay or Cairns. You will lead design and documentation on civil and transport projects across public and private sectors, mentoring junior staff and delivering from concept to construction.

Applicants should bring a Civil Engineering degree, a track record with client relationships, and strong project management. CPEng/RPEQ is preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) required.
• Experience in establishing client relationships and winning work.
• Strong project management skills and mentoring ability.
• CPEng and RPEQ preferred or progress toward.
• Interest in high-quality design documentation and technical data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain client relationships, identify new project opportunities and win work.
• Project manage and be technically responsible for large planning and design projects ($2M+), with multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Develop local junior engineers and design personnel.
• Ground truth designs across regional Queensland’s remote road network.
• Provide technical expertise and support projects across offices as required.
• Contribute to knowledge development in civil and transport engineering.
