Job summary

WGA - Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Senior Pavement Engineer to lead flexible pavement design and rehabilitation projects for roads and highways. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering local and state government initiatives with a focus on constructible, site-specific solutions.

You will collaborate with clients and contractors, manage multi-disciplinary projects, and contribute to the growth of WGA’s pavement practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across flexible pavement design and rehabilitation ideally within a Consulting Environment.
• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Ideally experienced in rigid pavement, stabilised pavement designs and assessing condition data on existing roads.
• Proficient at using CIRCLY 7.0 and other specialist software such as HIPAVE, FAARFIELD, BPA, Rubicon and/or AfPA Pavement design methods.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients and contractors to identify constructible, site-specific designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead pavement designs for roads and highways across local and state government projects.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors to identify constructible and best-for-use pavement designs.
• Deliver pavement projects within multi-disciplinary engineering assignments with strong project management.
