Job summary

ProFound People Pty Ltd, a leading engineering consultancy in Perth, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. You will work on land development, drainage, earthworks and civil infrastructure projects within the mining sector.

The role involves producing concept designs, detailed drawings and calculations, reviewing hydraulic design, and guiding projects from concept to construction. Collaborative, results-driven professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering or related role.
• Strong background in land development and civil infrastructure.
• Solid drainage design knowledge and drainage calculations experience.
• Experience with earthworks, roads, stormwater and related civil work.
• Proven ability to produce civil designs, drawings, calculations and documentation.
• Experience with civil design and/or 3D modelling software is preferred.
• Experience guiding projects from concept through to construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong technical, project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce concept designs, detailed drawings, layouts and technical docs.
• Work on land development, drainage, earthworks and civil infrastructure.
• Carry out and review drainage calculations and hydraulic design.
• Develop civil designs for mining, resources and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review calculations, reports and technical docs.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide technical support across design, procurement and construction.
• Coordinate activities to meet programme, budget and quality targets.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy on mining projects.
