Job summary

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Melbourne. You will design and deliver land development and civil infrastructure projects across Victoria, coordinating with councils, service authorities and clients to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Using 12D and AutoCAD, you will produce design documentation, mentor junior engineers and contribute to creating safe, sustainable communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 4+ years of relevant civil engineering experience in Victoria.
• Demonstrated experience in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to Australian/Victorian standards.
• Strong design experience across roads, drainage, earthworks, water and sewer services.
• Experience working with Victorian councils, service authorities and DTP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver land development and civil infrastructure projects across Victoria.
• Prepare and coordinate civil engineering designs, drawings and documentation.
• Work across roads, car parks, drainage, earthworks, water and sewer reticulation, subdivisions and civil site works.
• Use 12D and AutoCAD to develop high-quality civil designs and documentation.
• Work with councils, service authorities, DTP, clients, subconsultants and contractors through design and approvals.
• Contribute to technical reviews to ensure designs meet Australian and Victorian standards.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers as experience develops.
