Fyfe is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our expanding South Australian Civil team in Adelaide. You will work across land development, civil infrastructure and major engineering works, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical engineering solutions.

This role offers ownership of projects, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to a high-performing team while applying Australian Standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience delivering civil projects in property/infrastructure
• Experience on land development and civil works
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and design practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proactive problem-solver
• Collaborative team player delivering quality client outcomes

Responsibilities

• Civil design for land development projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
• Prepare and review civil drawings, designs and docs.
• Concept, feasibility, and detailed design development.
• Bulk earthworks, road design, drainage, water and sewer design.
• Prepare specifications, scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with clients, councils, contractors and regulators.
• Site inspections, construction support and design reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
