Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a Senior Change Manager for the Data Capability & Adoption team. You will lead the enterprise change governance and AI literacy initiatives, partnering with Product, Delivery, and executive stakeholders to embed change across core pillars.

You will mentor a small team of Change Managers and ensure adoption criteria are integrated into agile product lifecycles, driving measurable business value from Data & AI initiatives.

Senior Change Manager - Data Capability & Adoption

As the Senior Change Manager - Data Capability & Adoption, you occupy a pivotal leadership position within the Data & AI Capability team at Endeavour Group, bridging strategic practice governance with hands-on operational landing across core enterprise pillars.

Endeavour Group is executing a strategy to transform our business, using data, advanced analytics, and AI to optimise decision-making and operations. In this role, you will shape and govern the enterprise change system that powers Data & AI adoption, co-owning value realisation alongside Product and Business leaders across Merchandising, Operations, Customer, and broader enterprise domains. You will lead the evolution of our Change Management Practice system - defining change governance standards, business readiness frameworks, and "Definition of Done" criteria for product adoption, while co-owning the enterprise AI Literacy strategy in partnership with People & Culture (P&C) to position team members as confident, AI-led practitioners. Sitting alongside practice leads in Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics, you will work directly with Heads of Product, Delivery Leads, and business executives to ensure Change Management is integrated as a non-negotiable component of the product delivery lifecycle.

• Enterprise Governance Strategy: Lead the enterprise change governance system and AI Literacy strategy to drive Data & AI adoption across core commercial pillars.
• People & Practice Leadership: Directly lead and mentor a team of pillar-aligned Change Managers while embedding adoption standards into agile product lifecycles.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Product Adoption Landing: Oversee the successful landing, embedding, and continuous adoption of core Data & AI products across primary commercial pillars, including Merchandising, Operations, and Customer.
• Value Realisation Tracking: Establish adoption metrics and tracking frameworks to baseline usage, quantify value realisation, and measure the operational impact of deployed solutions.
• Change Framework Governance: Design, establish, and mature the Data & AI Change Management Practice framework, introducing standardised Change Impact Rubrics, Business Readiness Gateways, and adoption "Definition of Done" standards.
• Agile Lifecycle Integration: Influence Product and Delivery leaders to embed change and adoption criteria into regular sprint planning and SOW milestones to protect change management scope.
• Team Leadership: Directly lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2-4 pillar-aligned Change Managers and vendor change partners, balancing strategic capability building with operational launch requirements.
• Enterprise AI Literacy: Define and execute Endeavour’s enterprise AI and Data Literacy roadmap in partnership with P&C, encompassing Generative AI adoption, prompt engineering, automated workflows, and ethical AI usage.
• Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Drive executive engagement at the Director and Exec level to build strategic alignment, baseline literacy gaps, and champion a data- and AI-led organisational culture.
• Vendor Governance Standards: Define change management requirements, artefacts (playbooks, training frameworks, adoption plans), and standards within Statements of Work (SOWs) for fixed-outcome vendor engagements and evaluate third-party deliverables.

• People Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading and developing change management specialists, managing performance, and balancing workload allocation across matrixed product delivery teams.
• Vendor Partner Orchestration: Proven track record of orchestrating third-party vendor partners to deliver high-quality change and enablement outcomes.
• Change Governance Expertise: Deep expertise in establishing change governance systems, business readiness rubrics, and integrating change deliverables into modern agile product lifecycles and vendor SOWs.
• Capability Framework Design: Extensive experience designing enterprise capability matrices, training architectures, and community-building programmes such as champions networks, events, and mentoring.
• Value Tracking Frameworks: Proven ability to establish product adoption metrics, baseline analytics, and business value tracking.
• Influence Without Authority: Exceptional ability to influence without authority, negotiating with Product Leaders, Delivery Leads, and business executives to prioritise long-term adoption over short-term shortcuts.
• Technical Domain Familiarity: Strong exposure to Data & AI domains (Data Engineering, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Generative AI) with the ability to translate complex technical products into intuitive business workflows.
• Strategic Transformation Partnerships: Proven success in partnering with P&C/L&D teams and executive sponsors to drive enterprise-wide cultural transformation.
