Job summary

Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is seeking a Senior Change Management Specialist to support the mobilisation and delivery of the Data Modernisation Program, helping our people and leaders prepare for, adopt and embed new data capabilities and ways of working.

The role establishes a fit-for-purpose change management approach, assessing people and organisational impacts and delivering coordinated engagement, readiness and learning activities with program teams,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a science or technology environment.
• Extensive change management experience in a large organisation with complex digital programs.
• PROSCI accreditation or equivalent change-management training.
• Strong analytical and influencing skills to engage research units and staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with government agencies or research organisations is preferred.
• Experience delivering data modernisation programs at scale.
• Experience embedding digital culture change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing organisational change management plans for enterprise-wide initiatives, including engagement, communication, readiness and development activities.
• Assessing and communicating the people and organisational impacts of change across AI and Digital Portfolio initiatives.
• Partnering with program managers and leaders to plan and deliver change activities.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the voice of impacted teams is represented in design and implementation.
• Identifying dependencies and coordinating engagement and readiness activities with governance and reporting.
