AIG is seeking a Senior Casualty Underwriter to assess client risks, price them and devise solutions for long-term sustainability. Based in Melbourne or Perth, you will work with the Southern Region Underwriting Manager to grow the Commercial casualty book and strengthen broker relationships.

You will develop budgets, monitor performance metrics, and deliver superior service in a competitive market while contributing to AIG’s inclusive, collaborative culture and Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Casualty underwriting experience across a broad range of products in the commercial segment.
• Entrepreneurial and solution-based approach with high technical underwriting skills.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with key broking partners.

Responsabilités

• Develop and underwrite Commercial business including renewal retention, marketing and compliance for Australia.
• Grow market share by building relationships with producers, clients and industry groups.
• Monitor production, retention, new business, loss ratios and pricing effectiveness.
