AIG Australia Limited is seeking a Senior Casualty Underwriter in Melbourne to evaluate client risks, price exposures and craft solutions ensuring long-term business sustainability. You will leverage over a century of insurance expertise to deliver outcomes across Australia and beyond.

You will develop and underwrite Commercial business, build broker relationships, and drive growth while meeting budgets and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Casualty underwriting experience across a broad range of products, including Primary Casualty and Excess/Umbrella.
• Entrepreneurial and solution-based approach to underwriting with high technical skill.
• Proven relationships with key broking partners at major houses.
• Understanding of management reporting, profitability assessment, pricing principles and relationship development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing ability.

Responsabilités

• Develop and underwrite Commercial business within delegated authority.
• Achieve production targets by executing marketing objectives and broker relationships.
• Increase market share through relationships with producers, clients and industry groups.
• Provide timely production and portfolio reporting numbers.
• Develop strategies to grow profitable Casualty business in Australia.
• Collaborate with regional teams to grow the Commercial segment.
