Job summary

CatholicCare NT is seeking a dedicated team member for its community wellbeing programs in Darwin. The role focuses on assertive case management, education and support to participants, aiming to enhance family wellbeing and child development within the Children and Parenting and Community Mental Health services.

The position emphasizes engaging with Indigenous communities, implementing program activities, building partnerships with agencies, and delivering culturally competent services.

Qualifications

• Qualifications and relevant experience in the field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and case note writing.
• Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly with Indigenous people.
• Experience applying early intervention and prevention activities that support the wellbeing of children, young people and families.
• Ability to network effectively with other agencies to support a community approach to wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• The position is responsible for providing assertive case management, education and support to participants in order for the program to meet its objectives.
• This role focuses on implementing and facilitating program activities and experiences to support families and the wellbeing of children.
