VACCA’s Deadly Steps Forward program is a culturally responsive bail support service tailored to support Aboriginal people aged 12-25 years old. Intensive case management at the time of bail includes building self-determined plans and goals and aims to improve justice outcomes and address the underlying challenges faced by each young person that led to involvement with the justice system. Senior Case Managers will provide trauma-informed, holistic therapeutic case management for Aboriginal young people at the time of bail and until court hearings
