Job summary

IFYS in Coomera is seeking a skilled Case Manager to lead one residential program and supervise a team of Residential Youth Workers. You will ensure high standards of care in a safe living environment and provide trauma-informed support to young people.

This permanent full-time role offers five weeks leave, salary base of 110,350 AUD per annum plus superannuation, not-for-profit salary packaging up to 15,900 AUD, and opportunities for professional development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a similar field.
• Diploma level or higher qualification.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and ability to motivate a team.
• Good judgement, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the residential program.
• Provide leadership and supervision to all staff, including development.
• Ensure trauma-informed therapeutic care in a safe environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure reporting and documentation compliance.
• Contribute to safety plans and behaviour support plans.
• Attend meetings and rosters with smart planning.
• Plan activities aligned with young people’s needs and case plans.
• Contribute to onboarding and training of new staff.
