Job summary

Magistrates' Court of Victoria in Melbourne is seeking an Advanced Case Manager to support people with complex mental health and disability needs within ARC and CISP. You will conduct assessments, develop tailored plans and coordinate access to housing and health services.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will mentor junior case managers, prepare court reports, and drive practice improvements to strengthen outcomes for clients and the court.

Qualifications

• Diploma level qualification in case management or similar field.
• Degree level qualification would be highly desirable.
• Experience with complex psychosocial needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced, strengths-based case management for clients with complex needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred support plans.
• Coordinate access to housing, mental health, AOD services and family violence interventions.
• Identify and manage client risks using risk management and harm minimisation.
• Prepare high-quality court reports and provide expert advice to the Court.
• Mentor and coach junior case managers to build capability.
• Foster relationships with judiciary, legal professionals and community services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve client outcomes.
