Job summary

SummitCare seeks a Manager Care and Wellbeing to lead and coach the care team at our St Marys facility. You will use your clinical skills to foster high-quality care, ensure compliance, and support ongoing governance. You will mentor staff under the guidance of an experienced General Manager.

Requirements include AHPRA RN registration, 4+ years RN experience in aged care, and 2-3 years of management experience, with strong governance, ACFI, and care planning knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA (RN essential)
• At least 4 years experience as a Registered Nurse within an Aged Care Sector
• A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience is required for this position
• Reports on the clinical indicators for the facility and ensured that projects are carried out to completion
• A good working knowledge of clinical governance, ACFI and care planning
• Excellent clinical decision making skills with the ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
• Proficiency and understanding of electronic care management systems and computer application
• Experience with specific aged care electronic management systems is essential

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the care team to deliver high-quality resident care in St Marys.
• Foster best clinical practice and ensure compliance across all areas.
• Report on clinical indicators and drive improvement initiatives.
• Oversee governance processes and care planning activities.
• Collaborate with the General Manager for mentoring and development.
