Job summary

Newcastle Anglican are seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Cert IV) or Enrolled Nurse to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

This permanent role offers shifts with flexibility during leave periods, opportunities to develop clinically, and support from a compassionate team dedicated to wellbeing and respectful care for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing (AHPRA) or Certificate IV in Aged Care.
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Accurate documentation of residents’ care and progress.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks including health assessment and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care Manager.
• Administer medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Contribute to the clinical care of residents including maintenance of clinical records.
