Job summary

Stratford Health Hub in Cairns, Far North Queensland, is seeking a senior physiotherapist with cardiorespiratory experience to develop this service area. The role includes respiratory assessment and treatment, supporting patients with reduced exercise tolerance, and coordinating care with exercise physiologists and other clinicians.

You’ll manage general musculoskeletal and complex rehab cases, while growing the respiratory caseload and marketing your expertise to the referral network.

Qualifications

• recognised physiotherapy qualification
• Ahpra registration or eligibility to practise in Australia
• minimum 5 years in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Provide breathing strategies, airway clearance and individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Grow the respiratory caseload while managing broader physiotherapy caseloads.
• Collaborate with GPs, specialists and the team to maintain clear clinical documentation.
