Job summary

Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Car Park Project Engineer for a major Sunshine Coast transport project. You will lead the live-site delivery of a new multi-level car park, coordinating demolition, earthworks, structures, services and finishes while maintaining safe access for users and operations.

The role requires a civil/structural qualification, extensive experience with concrete structures, and ability to work next to live rail.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction (or equivalent).
• Senior project engineering experience delivering concrete structures, ideally multi-level car parks or similar building structures.
• Post-tensioned or precast concrete experience.
• Current construction induction card and a valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies.
• Strong FRP background (formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours); managing FRP subcontractors or self-perform crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery of the car park structure from demolition through to finishes.
• Plan staging to keep pedestrian, vehicle, emergency and operational access safe during construction.
• Run design reviews, constructability workshops, temporary works coordination and RFI close-out.
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontractor performance and program recovery.
• Coordinate testing, finishing works, operational readiness and handover.

Senior Car Park Project Engineer – Rail Civil Relocation

A national contractor with a strong and growing pipeline of road, rail, bridge and civil infrastructure work across South East Queensland is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a major transport project on the Sunshine Coast. You'll lead delivery of a new multi-level car park in a live operating environment, keeping access safe for users, adjacent operations and construction traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery of the car park structure, from demolition and earthworks through to structures, services and finishes
• Plan staging that keeps pedestrian, vehicle, emergency and operational access safe throughout construction
• Run design reviews, constructability workshops, temporary works coordination and RFI close-out
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontractor performance and program recovery
• Coordinate testing, finishing works, operational readiness and handover
• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction, or equivalent experience
• Senior project engineering experience delivering concrete structures, ideally multi-level car parks or similar building structures
• Strong FRP background (formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours), including managing FRP subcontractors or self-perform crews
• Tier 1 or strong tier 2 contractor background
