UniSC is seeking an experienced project management professional to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple complex capital projects at UniSC Sunshine Coast. You will manage design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover within approved scope, timeframes and budgets.

You will oversee governance, financial management, risk, WHS and stakeholder engagement across diverse internal and external groups, ensuring safe, sustainable delivery aligned with university priorities.

Qualifications

• You will possess a postgraduate qualification or progress towards one in Project/Construction/Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering complex, high‑risk capital works projects, preferably in higher education, healthcare or government.
• Strong expertise in project governance, financial management, procurement, contract administration and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting and competing priorities across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, statutory requirements and WHS legislation.
• Proven leadership, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior executives, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly developed communication skills and experience preparing business cases, executive reports and project documentation.
• Current Class C driver's license and White Card (essential).

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, sustainably and in accordance with UniSC’s asset management objectives and approved outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in project delivery frameworks and align with strategic infrastructure priorities.
