Job summary

Services Australia is seeking a Senior Gen Developer (EL1 equivalent) to lead software development on Gen-based systems. You will create software designs, set coding strategy, and provide technical leadership for complex development projects.

Responsibilities include leading analysis, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance, ensuring compliance with development methodologies, and managing stakeholder relationships across agencies.

Qualifications

• Four years of Gen (CA Gen) development experience.
• IT degree and/or formal Gen training preferred.
• Experience with COBOL, SOAP services, RESTful APIs and MQ.
• Experience with Win32 application development.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development on Gen-based systems; provide technical leadership to the team.
• Develop software designs and long-term code maintenance strategy.
• Lead releases, go-live production support and maintenance.
