Qualifications

• Citizenship: Australian Citizenship or, in limited circumstances, the process of obtaining it.
• Security Clearance: Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of enterprise applications and digital services.
• Developing and maintaining code of high standards, with focus on maintainability, security and compliance with departmental frameworks.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to developers within multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams.
• Participating in technical requirements analysis, solution design, estimation and architectural discussions to ensure solutions align with standards and objectives.
• Reviewing software designs, code and documentation for quality, maintainability, security and compliance.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices to support efficient delivery.
• Managing complex technical issues and advising stakeholders and senior management.
• Mentoring less experienced developers and promoting knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
• Contributing to delivery planning, risk management, and adoption of emerging technologies including AI-enabled tools.
