Job summary

IT Alliance seeks a Senior Gen Developer for Federal Government projects in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. You will drive development, analysis, prototyping and testing across COBOL, Cuba and modern SOAP/REST MQ services.

Strong leadership in design and maintenance is expected. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Gen development, Win32 experience, and a track record in delivering robust APIs with high-level requirement analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Gen development experience.
• Experience with Cuba or similar systems.
• Experience writing and debugging COBOL.
• Experience with development of SOAP services, RESTful APIs and MQ.
• Experience in Win32 application development.
• Lead analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities.
• Review and undertake high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
