Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange in Sydney is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive workforce and financial planning through Workday Adaptive Planning. You will map processes, model data, elicit requirements and lead cross-functional analysis across P&C, Finance and Technology.

The role demands 5+ years in business analysis, strong Workday/HCM experience, and proven ability to work in a matrix environment while delivering high-quality BA artefacts and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have experience supporting a Workday HCM and Position Management implementation.
• 5+ years dedicated business analysis experience.
• Experience across the full SDLC from ideation to embedment in BAU.
• Strong ability to gather stakeholder needs and translate to functional requirements.
• Experience modelling integrated processes, operating models, governance and data requirements.
• Experience with MS Visio or equivalent for process modelling.
• Proficient in JIRA and Confluence; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to operate in a matrix structure and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across Position Management, Workforce Planning and Financial Planning for Workday Adaptive Planning adoption.
• Perform gap analysis on As-Is/To-Be states with stakeholders and project teams.
• Elicit, validate and manage business requirements including epics, features and user stories.
• Define data, reporting, security and integration requirements across Workday HCM and related systems.
• Model processes and data flows to support transitions to target state.
• Support testing strategies, participate in UAT and ensure readiness.
• Coordinate with IT solution providers and internal teams on progress and issues.
• Contribute to change management and training artefacts for stakeholders.
