Job summary

University of New South Wales in Sydney, NSW, seeks a Senior Business Analyst for the Student Systems team to drive transformation and enhancements across the student lifecycle. You will analyse end-to-end processes, engage stakeholders, document requirements and translate business needs into practical, user-focused solutions.

Reporting to the Manager, Student Systems (Projects), you may supervise one direct report.

Qualifications

Demonstrated business analysis experience in complex processes.
Experience gathering, validating requirements with senior stakeholders.
Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and delivery artefacts.
Exposure to transformation or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis across student systems projects and enhancements.
Understand current-state processes, pain points and future-state requirements with stakeholders.
Elicit and document requirements, process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes across the student lifecycle.
Bridge business and technical teams, translating needs into practical solutions.
Contribute to options analysis, impact assessments and business cases.
Support user acceptance testing, training and go-live activities.
