UNSW is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to deliver student systems transformation and enhancements across the university. You will analyse end-to-end processes, engage stakeholders, and translate business needs into clear requirements, with a focus on improving the student lifecycle.

Based at Kensington UNSW Campus with hybrid work, you may supervise one direct report. Strong BA capability, stakeholder engagement and mentoring are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated BA experience analysing complex end-to-end processes.
• Experience gathering requirements with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements, process documentation and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting system/process improvements in projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation.
• Exposure to waterfall, agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Knowledge of higher education student lifecycle is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead business analysis across student systems projects and enhancements
• Understand current-state processes, pain points, business needs and future-state requirements with stakeholders
• Elicit and document requirements, process maps, user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes across the student lifecycle
• Bridge business and technical teams, translating needs into practical solutions
• Contribute to options analysis, impact assessments, business cases and decision materials
• Support user acceptance testing, training, business readiness and go-live activities
• Advise on processes, system capabilities, risks, dependencies and fit-for-purpose solutions
• Support continuous improvement and mentor junior business analysts as required
