Job summary

The Victorian Government is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a CRM MS Dynamics program on a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid and requires extensive experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and working with stakeholders across departments.

You will bridge business stakeholders, project teams and external vendors, mapping processes to CRM functionality and supporting CRM integrations and reporting using MS Dynamics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including senior BA roles in complex environments.
• Proven skills in requirements elicitation, process modelling, and traceability.
• Experience mapping business needs to CRM functionality and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for business stakeholders, program team and external vendors.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to elicit, analyse and document requirements with traceability.
• Report BA metrics to the leadership team.
• Provide BA support through full project lifecycle and clarify requirements as needed.
• Deliver project documentation within project management frameworks on time and quality.

The department has embarked on a service transformation focused on delivering enhanced digital service, providing easier access to services, developing stronger connections with service partners through technology integrations and digital workflows and building an empowered and capable workforce who are receptive and ready for change.

Role

The client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for an immediate start with the department Digital Case Management System program. Candidates will require CRM knowledge and experience in addition to MS Dynamics experience.

Accountabilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, program team and external vendors ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business and functional requirements, and management of requirements traceability.
• Reporting BA metrics to the leadership team
• Provide business analysis support relevant to provision of requirements support and clarification throughout a full project development or implementation lifecycle
• Delivering project documentation with the department's project management frameworks, on time, to expected quality standards as per scope and as agreed with the Project Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• A minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst, including experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis/modelling, process mapping and information analysis/modelling, planning, design, testing and system integration, using industry standard techniques in a complex business environment.
• Experience mapping business requirements and processes to the functionality of a product whilst identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment with high performing teams with high-priority deliverables under tight timeframes and balancing competing priorities.
• Experience identifying and analysing complex legislative and / or regulatory requirements applicable to the relevant industry/work environment and their processes.
