Base pay range

A$60.00/hr - A$110.00/hr

This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading

Great SA Government agency looking for a senior business analyst to work in a systems replacement project.

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to lead and support a critical systems replacement and implementation project involving CRM and SaaS platforms. This hybrid role is ideal for a professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, while also managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for CRM and SaaS system replacements.
• Evaluate current systems and processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with business and technical teams.
• Support vendor selection, solution design, and implementation planning.
• Assist in change management, training, and user adoption strategies.

Project Management:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including vendors, developers, and business units.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager in system implementation or replacement projects.
• Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of business process modelling, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end using Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience in data migration and system integration projects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP and Agile PM.
