Job summary

Versatile Group in Sydney CBD is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive process discovery and documentation. You will map current and future state processes, identify gaps and risks, and partner with leaders across operations, warehousing, technology and corporate functions.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, you will help establish process standards, support transformation programs, and lay foundations for automation and AI-enabled initiatives to scale the organisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in business analysis, process analysis or operational improvement.
• Experience independently leading process discovery and documentation initiatives.
• Experience developing process maps, swimlane diagrams, SOPs and work instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience identifying process gaps, duplication and inefficiencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience working within large, complex or multi-business environments.
• The ability to connect processes across teams, systems and operational functions.
• A pragmatic and adaptable approach to changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor on process standards and documentation practices across the Group.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional requirements-gathering BA role.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, you’ll work across the organisation to understand how work really gets done, identify opportunities for improvement and turn complex or inconsistent ways of working into clear, practical and scalable business processes.

Your exposure will be broad, working across operations, warehousing, technology and corporate functions, while helping build the process foundations required for future growth, automation and transformation initiatives.

About You

You’re an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and bringing structure to ambiguity.

You’ll bring:

• 8+ years’ experience in business analysis, process analysis or operational improvement
• Strong experience independently leading process discovery and documentation initiatives
• Experience developing process maps, swimlane diagrams, SOPs and work instructions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience identifying process gaps, duplication and operational inefficiencies
