Job summary

LDK Seniors Living is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the requirements stream for a programme improving care, clinical and corporate systems. You will work with village teams, the National Care Team, clinicians, and executives to document, prioritise and approve business needs.

You will guide workshops, map processes and ensure data quality, with strong stakeholder engagement and mentoring of junior analysts in a Canberra-based 12-month fixed-term role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years business analysis experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role on complex systems and transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis on resident management, care management or clinical care platforms.
• Understanding of Australian aged care environment including Aged Care Act 2024 and Quality Standards.
• Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, process analysis and gap assessment through to formal approval.
• Strong knowledge of business process mapping, data quality and migration, systems integration and business case development.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with stakeholders from frontline to executive.
• CBAP or CCBA certification preferred. Experience with aged care platforms, Jira, Confluence and PRINCE2 is highly desirable.

About the role

LDK is investing in a programme of work to review and improve the business systems and processes that support care, clinical and corporate teams across our villages. The Senior Business Analyst leads the business analysis and requirements stream for that programme.

You will work closely with village teams, our National Care Team, clinical subject matter experts, support office functions and the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead the work to understand how LDK operates today, define what good looks like, and make sure business needs are clearly documented, prioritised and agreed.

This is a Canberra based, 12 month fixed term opportunity within the Innovation and Business Transformation team.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Minimum 10 years business analysis experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role on complex systems and transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis on resident management, care management or clinical care platforms.
• A competent understanding of the Australian aged care operating environment, including the Aged Care Act 2024, the Aged Care Quality Standards and Support at Home.
• Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, process analysis and gap assessment through to formal approval.
• Strong knowledge of business process mapping, data quality and migration, systems integration and business case development.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders from care teams on the floor through to executive leadership.
• Sound judgement on risk and dependency, surfacing issues early rather than late.
  Comfortable working with limited supervision in an environment where direction is still being shaped.
• Relevant business analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA preferred. Experience with aged care platforms, Jira, Confluence and PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
