Job summary

Aurecon Group in NSW seeks a Senior or Intermediate Bridge Engineer to join NSW/ACT Bridges & Civil Structures in Sydney or Newcastle. You will lead the analysis, design and assessment of bridges and related civil structures, working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver practical, safe and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, modellers and designers, contributing to transport projects across NSW, ACT and Australia, within a supportive culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in structural design and assessment of bridges and civil structures.
• Experience in bridge strengthening or retrofit is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Australian bridge design standards.
• Experience with analysis software such as MIDAS Civil, MIDAS FEA, Space Gass.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis, design and assessment of bridges across concept to construction.
• Develop practical engineering solutions prioritising safety and life-cycle performance.
• Own design packages and deliver calculations and reports to completion.
• Identify risks early and coordinate with leads to resolve them.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
