Qualifications

• Requires 4–8 years' experience as a bridge engineer in a consulting environment.
• Experience in the inspection, assessment and remedial design of bridges and other civil structures.
• RPEQ registration and progress toward Chartered status (CPEng or nearing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out and report on structural inspections of bridges and other structures.
• Undertake structural modelling and load rating/capacity assessments.
• Prepare engineering recommendations, reports and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate projects including client engagement and stakeholder management.
• Write technical engineering reports and perform quality assurance checks.
• Contribute to tenders and proposals and support graduate engineers.
