Century Venues Group is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team, maintaining accurate records and supporting finance projects. You will set quarterly and annual goals and report to the COO and CFO.

The role covers day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and SOP improvements with a focus on trust accounts and event finances. You will work across multiple entities, manage event settlements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while meeting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in bookkeeping using Xero.
• Experience with trust accounts and event-based finances.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.

Responsabilités

• End to end bookkeeping - Manage entry and reconciliation of all receivables and all payables across multiple companies with accuracy.
• Event income and expense management.
• Prepare Event and Tour settlements and their associated reports.
• Calculate agency and management fees and commissions.
• Preparation of BAS, IAS.
• Manage daily office tasks and respond to queries relating to administering the company.
• Meet weekly deadlines.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
• Management of Funds Held in Trust and associated reconciliations.
• Accounts Discrepancy solutions.
• Debtor collections and timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
• Identify improvements in accounts operations and processes.
