Job summary

Roc Consulting is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, delivering bookkeeping and advisory services, and driving efficiency across client workflows.

You will lead a small team of offshore bookkeepers, review junior work, and help implement new systems and processes. Hybrid work arrangements allow 2 days work-from-home after settling in.

Qualifications

• 5+ years bookkeeping experience in an accounting firm or own portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, BAS, balance sheet reports and cash flow statements.
• Excellent communication skills and stable employment history.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide bookkeeping and advisory services.
• Review work completed by junior bookkeepers and ensure quality.
• Implement new systems and processes; oversee a small offshore team.
• Collaborate with clients to optimize cash flow and reporting.

POSITION

Due to growth within their client portfolio, the position of Senior Bookkeeper has become available. The role will involve managing a portfolio of clients providing a range of bookkeeping and advisory services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement new systems, processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will also have responsibility over a small team of offshore bookkeepers.

CANDIDATE

The ideal applicant will have 5+ years bookkeeping experience for an accounting firm or experience previously running their own bookkeeping client portfolio. Strong working knowledge of payroll, BAS, Balance Sheet reports and cash flow statements is required. Excellent communication skills are non negotiable as is a stable employment history.
