MW Recruitment is assisting a Sunshine Coast accounting firm to hire a Senior Bookkeeper. You will manage a portfolio of established clients, performing full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/IAS, and management reporting. The role includes training junior staff and collaborating with accountants.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting or higher.

• Detail focused and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Payroll processing, superannuation and STP reporting.
• BAS and IAS preparation and review.
• Month end close and management reporting for clients.
• Training and supporting junior bookkeepers as the team grows.

A Sunshine Coast accounting firm with a strong local client base is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to take on a senior level portfolio. THE ROLE:

Reporting to an experienced team you will own a portfolio of established clients and be their go-to person for day-to-day financial administration.

Full cycle bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, AP and AR

Payroll processing, superannuation and STP reporting

BAS and IAS preparation and review

Month end close and management reporting for clients

Training and supporting junior bookkeepers as the team grows

Working with the accountants to keep client files accurate and on time

THE INDIVIDUAL:

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or higher

Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a public practice environment

Advanced working knowledge of Xero and MYOB

Confident communicator who can manage clients directly

Detail focused, self-driven and comfortable managing competing deadlines
