MW Recruitment is assisting a Mackay accounting firm in finding a senior Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of established clients. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day financial administration and a mentor to junior staff.

You will handle full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, BAS/IAS, and month-end reporting while collaborating with accountants to ensure client files are accurate and timely. Hybrid work with flexible hours is offered.

Formación

• Certificate IV or higher in bookkeeping/accounting.
• Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally in public practice.
• Confident communicator who can manage clients directly.
• Detail oriented, self-driven, able to juggle deadlines.
• Excellent both written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Full cycle bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Payroll processing, superannuation and STP reporting.
• BAS and IAS preparation and review.
• Month end close and management reporting for clients.
• Training and supporting junior bookkeepers as the team grows.
• Work with accountants to keep client files accurate and on time.

A Mackay accounting firm with a strong local client base is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to take on a senior level portfolio. THE ROLE:

THE INDIVIDUAL:

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, or higher
• Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a public practice environment
• Advanced working knowledge of Xero and MYOB
• Confident communicator who can manage clients directly
• Detail focused, self-driven and comfortable managing competing deadlines
