Job summary

New edge group is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Drafting Team Leader to guide a team of BIM professionals delivering mechanical services models and documentation. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, site teams and clients to support design through construction.

The role requires 5–10 years in Mechanical Services BIM, strong Revit MEP skills, and experience with Navisworks/Revizto and BIM platforms.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in Mechanical Services BIM and Drafting.
• Proven experience leading or supervising BIM, VDC, or drafting teams.
• Advanced Revit MEP skills with strong modelling capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of BIM Coordinators and Drafters.
• Oversee project resource planning and workload distribution across multiple projects.
• Manage BIM deliverables, model development, and drawing production activities.
• Drive project coordination and clash resolution processes.
• Ensure project models and documentation comply with company standards and client requirements.
• Conduct quality reviews of models, drawings, and project deliverables.
• Support the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and assist in meeting key delivery milestones.

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Drafting Team Leader to join our growing organisation and play a key role in the successful delivery of major building services projects.

This position is responsible for leading a team of BIM professionals while ensuring the efficient production, coordination, and delivery of high-quality mechanical services models and documentation. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, site teams, and clients to support project outcomes from design through to construction.

About You

• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in Mechanical Services BIM and Drafting
• Proven experience leading or supervising BIM, VDC, or drafting teams

• Experience using Navisworks, Revizto, and BIM coordination platforms
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, model management, and clash detection
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant Mechanical Services, Building Services, or Drafting qualifications

Highly Regarded

• Hospital or healthcare project experience
• Experience working within live construction environments
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Experience developing BIM standards, templates, and best practices
• Exposure to prefabrication and digital construction methodologies
