Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Perth seeks an experienced BI, Data and Analytics Lead to drive the data capability within the Business Transformation Program and support ERP implementation.

You will lead data governance, reporting and analytics, improve data quality, and provide expert advice to stakeholders while guiding a specialist team to deliver data-driven insights across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading BI, analytics, data management or data readiness initiatives in a large organisation.
• Proven success delivering data-driven improvements and transformation outcomes.
• Strong data governance, information management, reporting and analytics practices, incl. data catalogs, glossaries, standards and quality frameworks.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Snowflake or similar technologies.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the PTA's BI, analytics and data readiness capability to support ERP implementation and decision-making.
• Drive data governance, reporting and analytics initiatives, improve data quality and accessibility.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders and lead a specialist team to deliver data-driven insights and outcomes across the PTA.
