Point Hotel is seeking a Senior Bartender to lead our bar team during service, delivering exceptional cocktails with precision and flair at KIN Bar & Dining. You’ll spend significant time at KIN while supporting Aira and other beverage operations.

Reporting to the Bars Manager, you’ll guide the team, ensure consistency, and help develop our beverage offering for upcoming launches. RSA required; evenings/weekends availability.

Formación

• Senior or head bartender experience.
• Experience in high-volume bar and function service.
• Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails and modern techniques.
• Leadership and training abilities.
• Current RSA certification.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Lead bartenders and barbacks during service, coordinating with supervisors and floor team.
• Execute Aira’s cocktail menu to specification and uphold beverage standards across outlets.
• Deliver consistent cocktail quality, presentation, and efficient service.
• Oversee batching, mise en place, garnishes, syrups and infusions.
• Maintain bar organisation, cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Monitor stock, par levels, ordering, and waste minimisation.
• Train and mentor bartenders in techniques and procedures.
• Assist Bars Manager with cocktail development and menu implementation.
• Complete opening and closing procedures to a high standard.
• Engage with guests, share product knowledge and address service concerns.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Bartender to lead our bar team during service and deliver exceptional cocktails with precision, consistency and flair. You’ll spend significant time at KIN while also supporting Aira and our other beverage operations.

Reporting to the Bars Manager, you’ll bring strong technical skills, guide the team and contribute to the continued development of our beverage offering.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading bartenders and barbacks during service, working closely with supervisors and the floor team
• Executing Aira’s cocktail menu to exact specifications and maintaining beverage standards across our outlets
• Delivering consistent cocktail quality, presentation and efficient service
• Overseeing batching, cocktail preparation and mise en place, including garnishes, syrups and infusions
• Keeping the bar organised, clean and ready for service
• Monitoring stock and par levels, assisting with ordering and minimising wastage
• Training and mentoring bartenders in cocktail techniques, specifications and service procedures
• Supporting the Bars Manager with cocktail development and menu implementation
• Completing bar opening and closing procedures to a high standard
• Engaging with guests, sharing your product knowledge and resolving service concerns
• Following responsible service, food hygiene and workplace safety requirements

You’ll bring:

• Strong bartending experience, ideally in a senior or head bartender role
• Experience in high-volume bar and function service
• Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and modern cocktail techniques
• Leadership skills and experience training and supporting a bar team
• The ability to maintain speed without compromising quality
• Strong organisation, preparation skills and attention to detail
• Confident communication and a warm, professional approach to guests
• High standards of personal presentation and pride in your work
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
