  • Supporting Company Secretary functions through board papers, resolutions and guidance on governance and director duties.
  • Managing disputes and litigation, including oversight of external counsel.
  • Partnering with executives, operations leaders and the Board to deliver clear, timely and commercial legal advice that supports strategic decision‑making and innovation across the Bank.
About You

  • Strong understanding of ASIC and APRA frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience with the NCC, NCCP, retail ADI regulations, prudential standards and the Customer Owned Banking Code of Practice.
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity, prioritising effectively and operating confidently through change.
  • Experience in mutual or customer-owned banking is highly regarded.
  • Broader exposure across consumer credit, privacy, technology/IP procurement, employment law, financial product disclosures and corporate governance is a strong advantage.
