Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a transactional banking and finance lawyer to provide commercially focused advice on complex financing transactions across project, asset, corporate and real estate finance. You will draft, review and negotiate transaction documents, and collaborate with PwC teams globally.

You will advise clients with strong technical knowledge and practical judgement, while mentoring junior lawyers and building trusted client relationships within a multidisciplinary PwC environment.

Qualifications

• General banking, asset finance, project finance, corporate finance and real estate finance experience.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent commercial judgement and practical advice.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cross-border financing experience.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary PwC teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on banking and financing transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice informed by technical knowledge.
• Collaborate with PwC teams across Energy Transition, Debt & Capital Advisory, Deals and Tax.
• Build relationships within the legal practice and PwC network.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support team development.
