Job summary

PwC Australia seeks an Associate Corporate Lawyer to guide organisations through complex corporate transactions. You’ll deliver pragmatic corporate advisory solutions for founders, sponsors, and corporations, while mentoring junior team members.

With focus on private M&A, restructures, and regulatory matters under the Corporations Act and FIRB, you’ll collaborate across tax, finance, and commercial teams to provide holistic client advice.

Qualifications

• At least four years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and technical legal skills.
• Experience delivering private M&A transactions and drafting SPAs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acquisitions, disposals and investments for clients, focusing on private M&A.
• Assist with Australian aspects of cross-border corporate restructures.
• Provide technical advice on the Corporations Act and FIRB.
• Draft and negotiate SPAs and transaction documents, and perform due diligence.
• Collaborate with advisers across business to deliver holistic client solutions.
• Build client relationships and provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to training and thought leadership.
