Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Backend Software Developer for an onsite role in Redmond, WA. The position focuses on building backend features end-to-end, including crafting AWS infrastructure, testing, deployment, and reliability for production-ready applications.

The ideal candidate has strong Python backend development experience, hands-on AWS services knowledge (ECR, SSM, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, IAM), and proficient JavaScript tooling. This is a 6-month on-site engagement with possible extensions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building application infrastructure in AWS.
• Strong JavaScript development for backend infrastructure and cloud services.
• Backend development in Python with integration to AWS and DBs.
• Experience transforming POCs into production-ready systems and end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver new backend features end to end from POC to production-ready applications.

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Development Engineer to join a small, highly hands-on development team building custom applications from proof of concept through production. This is an end-to-end role for an engineer who enjoys operating with a startup mindset within a larger organization—owning backend development, AWS infrastructure, testing, deployment, and reliability.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

• Develop and deliver new backend featuresend to end, from POC through production-ready applications.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (TOP MUST-HAVE SKILLS)

• AWS / Cloud: Strong hands-on experience building application infrastructure in AWS. Experience with services such asECR, SSM, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, IAM, and AWS networking. Solid understanding of key concepts such as connecting services across networks/accounts, configuring access and permissions, and designing forreliability.
• JavaScript: Strong development experience using JavaScript tobuild and configure AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
• Python: Strong backend development experience with the ability tobuild applications/services, integrate with AWS and databases, and write automated tests.
• End-to-End Development: Proven experience transformingPOCs into usable production systems, including backend development, infrastructure, testing, deployment, security, and reliability.

NICE TO HAVES

Experience in a startup, logistics, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing environment is a plus—particularly in environments where engineers have broad ownership and are responsible for building solutions end to end.
