Job summary

Squiz is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Discovery domain to build scalable, secure cloud systems that power conversational search and content intelligence. You will work with a Tech Lead and Engineering Manager to own backend services and shape the next generation of enterprise AI products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building complex distributed systems in production.
• Deep AWS cloud-native experience with serverless (Lambda/API Gateway) and ECS/Fargate.
• Proven CI/CD automation and AWS Well-Architected Framework knowledge.
• Strong system design with caching strategies, DB optimization, and distributed debugging.
• Experience with Generative AI workflows (RAG) and AWS Bedrock.

Responsibilities

• Own core Discovery services and scalable conversational pipelines.
• Design decoupled distributed systems with event-driven architecture.
• Embed DevSecOps practices, including automated security scanning.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and reliable deployment strategies.
• Collaborate on Generative AI and RAG architectures with Bedrock.
