Teamified in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own backend services in Django and drive production-grade architecture. You will ship features to power our web portal, mobile app, and white-label environments.

You will work closely with our Head of Engineering and Product, owning the payments core, deploying robust CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI tooling to enhance the platform.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Django knowledge including ORM, migrations, permissions and DRF.
• Deep PostgreSQL data modelling and relational design.
• Testing mindset with good test coverage.
• Experience shipping on cloud infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Security-conscious about authentication and authorization.
• Ownership from design to production with accountability.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and own Django backend services powering web portal, mobile app and white-label environments.
• Develop payments core: card issuing, spend controls, transactions and webhooks.
• Harden features and integrate workflow improvements across the platform.
• Leverage AI tooling to ship AI-powered product features.
• Lead technical design: design docs, ADRs, decomposition sessions.
• Raise engineering bar with tests, SDLC/AI-DLC improvements.
• Own production quality: monitoring, incident response and on-call rotations.
• Review code, mentor engineers and promote best practices.
