Job summary

Aviato Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to lead workflow orchestration, SDK modernization, and microservices on Google Cloud Platform. You will build scalable data pipelines, develop FastAPI services, and deploy cloud-native solutions across GCP.

Responsibilities include containerizing apps with Docker, writing Airflow operators, and integrating BigQuery with Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub for large-scale data processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering, data orchestration, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow, workflow authoring and custom operators.
• Proficiency in Python 3.x, asynchronous programming, and FastAPI.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end data pipelines and workflow orchestration using Google Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Build and modernize SDKs and microservices across client ecosystems.
• Develop production-grade Python apps and high-performance asynchronous microservices with FastAPI.
