Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend development experience with architecture/design responsibility.
• Strong production-grade Go skills; Rust a plus.
• Experience optimizing high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• DB schema design and query optimization.
• Distributed systems, concurrency, and high-volume data processing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and CI/CD.
• Secure coding practices and OWASP awareness.
• Cloud-native infra: containers, Kubernetes, service meshes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services emphasizing performance and security.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
• Translate requirements into precise technical specs for developers and AI agents.
• Review PRs from humans and AI agents for quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend teams on critical features.
• Promote TDD and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD.
• Design and optimize relational, key-value, and time-series DB schemas.
• Ensure secure coding and compliance with security standards.
• Monitor latency, throughput, and resource usage under load.
• Mentor engineers and share best practices across the team.
