Motion Recruitment seeks a hands-on Backend Engineer to own the technical roadmap, transforming an MVP into a resilient data hub. You will define core models, ingestion layers, and multi-region topology to onboard enterprise customers while meeting stringent security reviews.

You will lead architectural discussions, partner with ML for data pipelines, and drive scalable, high-throughput systems in a fast-moving startup environment in Sydney.

Competenze

• 8+ years of senior-to-staff backend engineering experience.
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise with schema design and performance tuning.
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js backend skills in containerised environments.
• Experience with AWS ECS/Fargate, event queues, serverless and IaC.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 readiness.
