SecuritEase Group in Australia is seeking a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable services using Java and Spring Boot, with focus on microservices and data pipelines.

You will collaborate across teams globally, work with Kafka, Airflow, and various databases, and contribute to secure, efficient systems. This role is remote within Australia with some timezone overlap with SA/UK teams.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive Java experience with concurrency and collections.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience building microservices, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Kafka/RabbitMQ and distributed data architectures.

Aufgaben

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Work with Postgres, Cassandra, OpenSearch and Pinot for data storage.
• Orchestrate data workflows with Kafka and Airflow.
• Implement testing with JUnit/Mockito, TestContainers and BDD.
• Ensure observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
