Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Principal Technologist in Sydney to join our pre-sales and client engagement team. You will architect cloud-based solutions, own the technical relationship with strategic customers, and lead from discovery through to roadmaps and governance.

You will communicate with C‑Suite and Directors, drive architecture quality across LAB3 offerings, and guide LAB3 solutions teams in high‑impact engagements. Hybrid work with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Senior level consulting and enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience in an Azure infrastructure environment.
• Strong ability to navigate senior stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with C-suite and directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead client consultations to understand strategic business needs and design cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Own the technical relationship with strategic customers and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop, present, and compare solution options to executive sponsors.
• Shape customer technical strategies, roadmaps, and align LAB3 offerings to client goals.
• Provide technical leadership to LAB3 sales and solutions teams and oversee architecture quality.
• Lead pre-sales technical discussions, demos, and proofs of concepts with LAB3 SMEs as needed.
• Participate in governance forums and act as a technical escalation point during major incidents.
