Job summary

Emmbr is seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to transform how cloud services are delivered across a large, complex organisation. The role focuses on building a mature platform-engineering capability with secure, governed and reusable Azure patterns.

You will lead Terraform-driven modernization, define landing zones, and work with cross-functional teams to improve CI/CD and operational efficiency, delivering scalable enterprise cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
• Proven Terraform production experience is essential.
• Experience in senior Cloud/Platform Engineering roles.
• Experience with Azure landing zones, IaaS, PaaS, security, governance and CI/CD.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Intune in enterprise environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and improve secure, reusable Azure platform patterns using Terraform.
• Design and maintain Azure landing zones and deployment standards.
• Review and improve external patterns for security and integration issues.
• Establish a platform-engineering model delivering self-service capabilities to application teams.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and IaC practices.
• Collaborate with application, cyber, networking and infra teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
